The Nursery Is Complete!

The nursery has definitely been a work in progress, but it is finally ready for baby Sophia. We have all the necessary things (I think!) thanks to all the great gifts I received from friends and family at my showers. Now that I have less than 4 weeks, I am going a little stir crazy. Hopefully, Sophia will want to come a little early because we cannot wait to meet our little girl. Of course, it is not up to us, so we are eagerly awaiting her arrival. Shower #2

Last Saturday, my parents hosted a family shower at their house. It was really exciting because boys were invited so Scott was able to participate in the fun! We ate Pappasitos fajitas for dinner and I even enjoyed a virgin margarita:) We received some really great gifts and it was really good to hang out with my family. Baby Shower Time!

This past weekend my best friend Monique, my two sisters and my mom hosted an amazing baby shower for me. It was so great to spend time with family and friends in anticipation of Sophia coming. I received so many necessary things for the nursery and it is really starting to set in that our little girl is coming soon. Some of the amazing gifts we got were: our car seat (yeah-we can take her home from the hospital!), high chair, diaper champ, bathroom rug, monogrammed burp cloths, swaddle blankets, and a sound machine. I am so blessed to have such wonderful support during this time and I could not have asked for a better baby shower!
