Sophia has learned a new "trick"!!! She has started to wave at people (or Sydney, our dog) and even sometimes there is a "Hi" sound. She does it all the time at home and she is hit or miss when we are out. I love seeing her learn new things and I am so amazed how smart she is. This was her waving earlier today:)

Month Six-Half Way There!!!
Eating: She is still eating 2 servings of solids each day and formula. Sophia has done really well adjusting to formula as I am no longer breast feeding and enjoying every minute of freedom!!! She also is using a sippy cup with water for the first time this month.
Sleeping: Still sleeping 11-12 hours a night. Usually we put her down at 8 and she wakes up around 7:30. She also is great at taking her naps from noon to 2 every day.
Playing: This month has been a very active month. Sophia is not crawling yet, but that does not stop her from moving all over the place! She rolls and slides everywhere and I know it is not long before she figures out the crawling thing. It is a good thing we already have those baby gates installed! She also is telling us how much fun she is having with really big laughs that I cannot get enough of. Some things that make her laugh real hard are: when Hannah(my mom's dog) throws a shoe up in the air, when cousin Avery puts stickers on me, and when mom tickles my belly.
Sophia's first Valentine's Day!
Loving the roses Mommy got for Valentine's day
Loves her rubber duckies
Bath time is so much fun!
Feeding Caleb (my mom's horse) carrots
She is not scared of horses whatsoever-I'm so proud:)

Las Vegas!
Scott had a random week of vacation at the end of February so we decided to finally travel somewhere we had never been. We chose Las Vegas because airfare and hotels are so reasonable and we got a deal we could not pass up staying at the MGM Grand Hotel. We were gone for 3 nights and I missed Sophia more than I ever expected. I have decided that for now I am not leaving her for more than 2 nights, and really all I need is a nice long dinner away from her and I am good! Las Vegas was quite an experience, to say the least. There is so much to do and see, but I feel we gave it our best shot in the few days we had there. It was not exactly the most relaxing vacation I have ever done(you do soooo much walking) but I am glad that I finally was able to see all the sights that I have heard about. The highlights of the trip were:
Seeing Cirque de Soleil's KA-BEST SHOW EVER!
Enjoying two fancy dinners minus Miss Sophia
Sleeping in as long as we wanted
Spending quality time with just Scott and I

First night eating at Fiamma before the show-so yummy!
It worked out great that the show was in our hotel-there was so much to do you didn't need to leave!
If only I was a millionaire-I could have done some serious shopping at the Forum Shops!
Caesar's Palace was one of my favorite hotels
One of many water falls inside Caesar's Palace
The Forum Shops inside
The atrium inside the Mirage-another favorite hotel of mine:)
Gondola rides at the Venetian

Inside the aquarium at Mandalay Bay
Our last dinner was at Olives in the Bellagio-this was in the lobby and I loved this hotel:)
Our last night dinner just before we watched the Bellagio fountains outside!
The Eiffel tower at Paris Vegas was fun but it sure made me realize how different your life is with kids. My next vacation will be on a beach doing absolutely nothing with Sophia close by!
